Within the world of Romeo and Juliet, there is another story of forbidden love. In this bold reimagining, what begins as the sparks of hatred between Tybalt and Mercutio ignites into a burning love. But will that love be enough to conquer the darkness that is suffocating Verona? Or will their fates forever fade into smoke?
The Creators
Lorelei Mackenzie and Kristen Penner are New York City based lyrists, composers, and actors. "Starcrossed" is the 4th full length musical they have co-created in conjunction with their company 16th Note Productions. They believe that fierce new works from bold new voices will pave the way for the American Theatre in the post pandemic world.
